HBW Launching 375ml Single-Serve Flex Pouch at 2012 Music Festivals – Kickin’ off in Austin, Texas
(SANTA ROSA, CA, March 7th 2012) — House Band Wines will launch its first-ever 375ml single-serve flex wine pouch at spring and summer music festivals beginning this month in Austin, Texas. The upstart brand sees this alternative wine package as a key component in its campaign to bring delicious wine to occasions and venues where glass is banned or impractical. The first release includes California Chardonnay and Merlot in case boxes of 24 pouches, in retail 4-pack cartons. The 375ml flex pouch’s SRP is estimated at $4.99 each.
Austin, Texas Launch Events – March 14th & 15th
“Vendors are excited about the pouch because glass safety issues are eliminated, service is expedited, and inventory control is vastly improved,” said winemaker Patrick Krutz, founder of House Band Wines. “For the consumer, the wines are from California vineyards and truly well made. No more negotiating festival crowds with plastic tumblers sloshing wine over the sides.”
Since launching House Band Wines in 750ml bottles with screw cap closures in October 2012, the brand has secured a string of distribution deals in the following states: CA, CT, FL, GA, LA, NY, NV, MO, MS, NJ, TN, TX and VA, with more states due to open in the coming months. Intense interest in the single-serve flex pouch by distributors, retailers, and venues has helped the brand to expand sales and availability rapidly. The wines are also available direct at www.housebandwines.com.
